What it is
A clear shield, cut to your car.
Paint protection film is a clear polyurethane layer applied over your car’s paintwork. Once it’s on, it’s virtually invisible, but it absorbs the chips, scuffs and scratches from rocks and road debris that would otherwise go straight into your paint.
It also helps protect against acid rain and chemical corrosion from road grit. It isn’t indestructible, but it will stand up to most of what Arizona roads throw at it, and it lasts for several years; the better it’s cared for, the longer it lasts.
